I got asked to do four illustrations for the website for the Orygen Youth Health Clinical Program. These drawings were meant to illustrate some instances of everyday paranoia, which can turn problematic if you don’t have the facilities to separate truth from fantasy.
A red light might make you feel the world is conspiring against you, a coincidence (such as hearing a song you were thinking about) might make you feel there is a message behind it. Everybody knows the strange feeling that people are talking about you behind your back, and the last image illustrates the experience where you are sure you heard someone say your name.
I’m pretty proud to be working for an organisation like Orygen! They do really excellent work.
